Nothing restores my peace and allows me to reconnect with myself like sitting beside a river and listening to it's gentle flow, bees humming in the tall grass, watching the sunlight dancing on the water.

This painting was inspired by a place that is very special to me. It was a solace and sanctuary for me during a turbulent time in my life. The view from the banks of this River reminded me of the beauty in this world and that no matter what is going on, nature is a constant. It gave me hope for the future. Joy and gratitude infuse every brushstroke.
